How well are those 235's sitting on the 6.5" rims? If the 215's don't provide enough grip I may be looking for something bigger later

JCMF,
The 235's are on but they are verging on being under-rimmed. Being a 65 profile they are ok and actually hang on very well but i wouldn't want to have any lower a profile without a wider rim. The side wall would ballon out to far.
If I can get the right offset I'd much prefer a set of 7" or even 8" rims under there. The bloody ford offset sit's to far out.

Well she made the 1/2 a million mark yesterday ! 500,000 k's and still going strong
And in case you were curious she weighed in today at 1560 kg including me (85kg) and all my usual contents. Thats with an almost full tank too.
And just to complete the picture she turned a whopping 40rwkw at Dyno day 7... go the 4M !

Change of Plans

The old girl is very much staying around now and that 40 rwkw is soon to be sorted out. It helps if the secondary's work LOL.
She is now riding on Series 2 MS123 Crown rims (14" x 6") and has a new set of plates that suit her better.

Here's the current pics I really do love the rear venetians and the blackout treatment on the grill has worked a treat.
Kirsty also spent a couple of days and stripped the paint off the headlight surrounds and polished em up. I think it looks heaps better now.

I think I drove past this the other day in Epping. Would that be it?
Not my cup of tea, but I can really appreciate a very well looked after old car.
Looks very nice Rod!
