32/36s are the inferior downdraught. Another option is the 34 adm weber which was on the falcon, it uses the same adapter plate, but has larger chokes and in turn gives better performance. The best part is they are very easy to get and also very cheap around - 40 bucks from a wrecker or free from

A 34 ADM will probably be too big for me.
Will lead to bad fuel atomization which is the problem im trying to fix.

Check your PM Rotor.

yeah silverfox is correct, they came on XF and XE falcons. My mate has one on his 2.6 scorpion and it runs fine. Yes it will need smaller main jets and air correctors.

I got one yesterday from lonsdale u-pull-it... $35s, bargain.
Quite a few XEs there with the 34 weber. Its easy to get off.
Pitty i had to spend about 4hrs cleaning it tho... but now its spotless Wink

Anyone know what the two solenoids and the switch are for?
Ive got the electric choke worked out.

yeah, they are definately a bargain, i dunno about paying for it. just chuck it in your pocket and on your way.
Jets are very easy to come by, any carby place will have em and they will probably swap you for yours at 2 or 3 bucks each. If you are in adelaide i recommend Auto Carby Services on Norfolk Road at marion.

as for the jets just ask the old dude down there, he will know. They are very easy to tune as well, same as 32/36. visit http://www.redlineweber.com/html/Tech/carburetor_s et_up_and_lean_best_.htm for good tuning info.

Thnks.
Ive read that and just about every other jetting guide i could find on the net. I think i have a good idea on how to tune it, but i dont have any idea on what values i should start with.
I will ask them.
