7M-GTE (MZ20 Soarer) Problems

Mate is thinking of purchasing MZ20 Soarer. Basically to put his mind at rest, we're wondering about things that commonly go wrong, particularily with the 7MGTE.
Its rvrolla's car, so the head gasket is all secure, and its been well looked after. The turbo has been rebuilt. Car has 155,000km, what sort of problems do they encounter? Anything you guys can thing of would be great!
As an aside, any info on common problems with the Z2 Soarers would be good too thanks.
Thanks,
Nathan

The only problem with the 7M motors is the blowing of headgaskets.

I have a GZ20, and except for the engine everything else, the body, suspension, interior, electrics, are all still working and have held up with around 150,000km's on the clock.

I've owned my MZ20 for about 15 months now
the only issue i've had so far has been the head gasket blowing. I've also done the HKS head gasket and ARP bolts upgrade - no problems at all since then!
Feel free to PM and ask any questions

rvrolla's Soarer is pretty nice. One of the better examples around. Goes well, looks good, has been looked after, had the turbo rebuilt, and HKS headgasket put on. What more could you want ?
Overall, a very good car.

What more could I want? Hehe, don't need to convince me. I'm trying to introduce someone to the world of performance cars, and justify to them that the extra expenses associated with running are worth it for the performance and style aspect.
Thanks for the extra opinion on the car though, its appreciated, ball is in mates court atm, hes working out all sorts of stuff
