ok, i h\may have a buyer for the ra23 celica, but i can tell him the engine is rooted and sell it to you.
but the engine is perfect, its just had a service, new oil etc., ummm yeah sure it can come with an auto trans but its a lil sloppy, but if you want it its no problem.
ive got no idea how much i should sell it for, i guess i would be looking for around $100-150, its nothing special, it comes with air condencer, but its not plugged in, radiator (fairly old)
yeah anyway gives an offer on the engine, coz instead of selling the car i might just wreck the thing, for my soon to have ta22...(hopefully. knock on wood)

ay wat do ua call that dude... na thats cool...rollaboy the 18r-c is only a sohc engine, the 18r-geu so sumin would be the one that would be 1000-1500 with the dohc...
but sadly the engine is no longer for sale the dude said he will buy the car off me, so the engines gota say, its a shame really coz i think i could have made more cash by parting it off... oh well hes a mate and im not saying no now...
but u should be able to pick up one fairly cheap dude, as celica boy has advertised $75...
sorry about that dude, but good luck with ya rolla... looks nice, what wheels are they c5's??? i want c5, they look tuff

Yeh the wheels are C5
and oh i thought they were both DOHC so how much would an 18R-C punch out (just roughly).
Im lookin for a mean power/weight ratio

yeah i thought u may have thought they were dohc engines, ive got no idea how much power theve got, i mean they pull ripper burnouts and it wass behind a auto, im down to metal  aboyt 200m long, no rear drums , everyone should try this...
but im sure, u can get some decent power out of them, with a nice rebuild, im sure u could even try to strap on a super charger maybe, there a 2L engine so u have a bit to play with...
and poolshark from what ive heard 21r-c are basicly the same as 18r-c and will bold straight in... (dont take my word for it, but everything toyota makes is a bolt in swap, its great)
oh and rolla boy how much did they set u back? there 16" yeah??? i was after some 17's in a lil while, found some place in nsw that were selling them for $1100 with tyres, but i want something local, so i can trial fit em, but yeah how much?

79rollaboy, I've got some info here that says the 18RC pushes out 97kw@5500. Not to sure how correct that is tho.

thought 95kw was a bit high, other wise i would keep the engine... yer i would say around 50-60kw, give or take, not that impressive

My wheels were 16" and i got them for $1200 with EAGLE F1 tyres.
Bob Janes wanted $1500 for 'em with cheap tyres so we got them at Tempe with a full balance and wheel alignment.
some bloody dickhead stole my chrome valve caps but I know where he lives!!!
