Before you have a go at me for being lazy and not doing this myself let me mention that I have been trying to source these parts for over a week now.
If anyone knows where in Sydney I can get a 12 pin dash connector for an SX corolla dash , and/or some 2.5" flexible piping , preferably with a decent thickness, could you please let me know.
Please help before my head explodes in frustration.

OK I think you will find the plug you need in the AE82 and I have an ide4a it is brown (don't quote me on the colour tho)

This is the stuff I used and it's the best I could find, and relatively cheap at around $22 a metre. They are in Smithfield.

One cheap trick I found is the vent hoses for the dash vents on a MK 2 Cortina are 3 inch diameter and very flexible. And you can just wind 2 of them together if you need a longer length.
I would assume a number of other cars (maybe later Cortina's?) would have similar ducting so on your next visit to the wreckers it may be worth a look.
