what is the best type of kit to get for doing some welding / cutting and heating for dent removal on a car panel.

I know the oxy-acetylene kit will do the job but they are not cheap 400 - $600. and then you have the bottle rental - $8.50 per bottle per month.

is MAPP gas or oxy - LPG setups any good.

I used to have an oxy-acetelene system, was incredibly useful.
You can pick up a cheap secondhand one in the Trading Post.
