Soarer warning lights! Quad cam V8 Hey guys anyone got any suggestions?
Exhaust "hot light" (pretty sure it's not the CAT light) illuminates in traffic or idling, or on start after sitting for a short period. I think it is heat soak causing the light, as when there is sufficient airflow under the car, the light goes out. Some guy suggested cutting the sensor wires and joining them, ie. eliminating the probes. I think fixing the problem, would be better than fixing the symptoms!.
I have removed, cleaned, and resistance checked the probes, and refitted them.
It is not just the warning light, and the chime, as the main display also comes up with a message (in Japanese).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info: lexusclub.co.uk, this is one essential site for ant Soarer owner. Funny thing is it backlinks to a good Aussie supplier for Soarer bits, who also has a bucket load of very good tech info.
Thanks again guys,Chuck.
