Well, i'm studying, so take away is an essential part of my daily diet.
Now i'm wondering what is everyone's favourite take away?

Here's mine... i've given a few cos it all depends on the type of craving i have.

NANDO'S - There is NO FINER chicken based meal!

Seafood Basket - Located on Great Wstrn Hwy Kingswood. THE BEST fish'n'chip style Chicken Fillet Burger BAR NONE!

QUIZNO'S - You want a sub? and a full gut?

Ali Baba Kebabs - In Maquarie centre. THE BEST kebabs. I dunno what they do but they are WAAAY better than anywhere else.

oporto - bondi burger with chilli ooo baby.

la porcetta - any pizza on the menu.

any kebab as long as they stick them in the grilling machine/breville thing before they give them to ya.

subway is ok for cold sandwitches - i had a bad experience a while back with their honey mustard, only getting over it now. NO MORE SAUCES!

I'm not impartial to Red Rooster. Oportos is nice too but need to order an extra tub of the chilli sauce.

Apart from that, can't really think of anything.

Now if we were talking asian food..............

We used to have a pizza shop called " thats amore " here in colac - their pizzas were 10 times better than la porchettas
" skimpy on the toppings " jobs

at least 3/4 an inch of topping bare minimum Wink and cheap too !

9 bux for a large - 12 for a family sized

beat that without vouchers PIzza hut !

Well, I like Pizza, and it'd have to be Dominos from around the corner where I used to work. Always loads of toppings, gotta love it Razz

I don't like Red Rooster, they changed their oil which made their chips turn to crap, and let the quality of their chicken slip, so its Chicken Treat for me, guild discount is a bonus too!

Wehn I'm feeling healthy...or at least I want to think I am, Subway at Karawara or Joondalup. Footlong Chicken Fillet, Double Meat on Parmesan and Oregano bread with swiss or old English cheeese....mmmmnnn

Tony's Spaghetti Bar in Scarborough, best gnocchi (?) EVER. Always the bomb. Cheap too.

Lastly, I'm partial to some fish and chips. And the Fish and Chips shop up the road is run by some Scottish people who do a damn good job.....

All this talk of food Razz

harry's cafe de wheels (for a 'civilised' take out)

oh, and theres a-la-turko on paramatta rd kinda 1/2 way between leicharrdt and strathfield ish

since july 2001 i have not eaten a single maccas burger or main food item. The most i have ever has was a soft serve cone.

For the following reasons:
1. Funny tasting burger - food poisoning
2. RAW PATTY in burger, yes, raw... RED RAW - sick
3. Burger with plastic still on cheese, had been cooked that way (or so it tasted) - sick again with abuse to manager, head office etc with the most they offered me was my money back.

I vowed never to be a customer of theirs again.

Reason 2 is half the reason why I have not eaten HJs or Maccas since 1993. The other half a reason was the small tuft of hair I found in the middle of the raw pattie.

most of time its chicken treat for me too:
1) i work there, its just easier
2) g/f (well fionce really, but saying g/f is easier cause then i dont have explain about how we're 'so young' and all) is both lactose intolerant and allergic to wheat, so that counts out anything with a bun or batter.

Dominos is always value. Definitely my number 1 choice, but when in Parammatta, I ALWAYS get a kebab from the Parra Star.

LOOKS like a food poisening joint, but tastes good. Smile I think it is just part of the "Parammatta Experience" Razz

Nando's is great, I've been a big Red Rooster strip sub fan as well. If I'm going burgers, it has to be HJ's. Domino's makes great pizza. Cheeseburger pizza on classic crust, mmmmmm. If you're ever out midland way (perth) go to Noodle Box. Their sweet chilli seafood combination is the bomb

YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!!!

They seriously ARE a food poisoning joint - bread is left out the back from when it is delivered at 5am until they open at 10am, so that all the rats with wings, and normal rats can munch at it.... the cockroach infestation is abhorrent, their sun dried tomatoes are sun dried out the back, and those meat hunks are usually on there for at least one week!

I know this because i have worked at the Jaycar next door for quite some time now.

Seriously. DO NOT eat there.
