3s-ge info.

Ok, here's the thing. I have a 3s-ge with a single cam cover (before you ask, yes it is a 3s-ge). Now the problem I have is there is no O2 sensor on the exhaust (probably why i get the 21 error code everytime I put the jumper across the te-1 and e1 diag.).
Question 1: Is there actually supposed to be an Oxygen sensor there or not?
Question 2: I have been told many different things, one of which saying that I can't interchange the 3s-ge with two rocker covers with the 3s-ge with one rocker cover, now I'd say the mounts are the same as well as tranny bolts, but wiring? is this true?
Question 3: Is $1250 reasonable for a 78,000km 3s-ge?
The first two are probably the most important at the moment but I wouldn't mind knowing the avg price range of low km jap import motors.

depends on what state you are in about 600 for a gen 2 it should have a steel sump if its alloy sump 1, then the price is ok
