 Whats the widest wheels that will fit on ra40 with standard guards?

 hey, i was just wundering
i have an ra40 coupe and the guards on it are standard...i was thinkin about getting them rolled just a little but thats not the point.
i was wondering if anyone knows the maximum width wheel that will fit on my celica leagally?
i have found a set i want to buy, but im unsure ya know?

there should be a tyre placard on the drivers door, you can go 1 inch wider than whats written on the placard..
that is 5.5" so widest legal rim is 6.5 inch

fuk that lol i have a set to go on that are 10.5 on the rear and 8.5 front...
thats if i buy them
and i luv those wheel
i could prolly get away with it

Legally in WA you can only go 7" wide. Check out the Dept. of Planning and Infrastructure (Transport) website.

there may have been some 6 inch alloys from factory??? that means you could go 7 inch.
of course you can get wider rims engineered but that costs you.
also remember big wide wheels puts stress on the steering
components.

Ok i can help you on this since ive looked it a year ago
Bluewire has 17/7 on the front....17/8 at the rear
and it all fits and runs well on the road....
