Diamonds can't melt, they are sublimes, turn from solid to gas, no liquid state

Actually, not entirely true. At normal pressure, carbon will sublime. However, at very high pressure, carbon does go through a liquid phase. Remember this?
The princess obviously possessed some incredibly magical powers, so she may well have been able to melt them.
Personally I just want to see some threeway action with the princess and a couple of her suitors.

Thats exactly the point
the prince brought something he thought was impossible to melt
yet the princess's powers where that good that they did

The 'critical point' is defined as the point where above a critical temperature and/or pressure, the boundary between liquid and gas disappears. It's defined as a fourth state of matter defined as supercritical. The fifth state is plasma.

hahahah it would be funny if the princess touched the "m&m' and melted it scolding the prince's peepee then she would feel sorry for him and clean his royal peeniths. then it would turn out that the prince was a cruel, womanising bastard and they would have to be married because he has the one thing the princess could not melt; a heart of stone!
then they lived more or less happily ever after with kinky, rough, dungeon sex filled nites
