Freak just asking on behalf of a friend. what do these normally go for?
has a sliver top 20 Valve conversion, and looks clean , has a prity clean interior, decent paint job and flash mags.

also would there be any difficulties with registration with a 20 valve conversion?

thank's. Smile

I think registering it wouldnt be too hard!
Ive heard you cant cause they are a racing engine, but i am not sure!
It looks a pretty decent car, apart from the painted 20v head!
If i had money and could put down a price i would put down around $6500-$8000 give or take!

Freak it is already registerd at the moment, i cant see why it would be to hard to be registered? as i have seen registered mr2's and rolla's before with 20 valves.
the rego is nearly out on it, i kind of want to know if this type of conversion needs to be engineered or anything like that? that would be hard to keep it registered if it wasnt engineered?

yeah, the dude said he was told he was getting a black top conversion, but the person that did it just painted a silver top... Rolling Eyes

Race engine??? Dude the 20V are fitted to cars that look like 2 door *GASP* shopping trollies in japan. Hardly a race engine stock, but an engine that can MAKE a good race engine when modded.

Yes they are quite powerful for the displacement but there are really no probs getting such a car to pass for rego. Not too sure about the engineering side of things! Me thinks only need to let them know the new engine number, as to me there is no change in displacement, type of induction (EFI and still N/A), and still a 4A based engine.

OH yeah and LMFAO @ the Blacktop in that one! Very Happy
