ok people, does anyone have a good condition ta22 for sale pref. in adelaide, can have rust, but very minimal, interiour must be in good condition, doesnt need to have an engine as im doing a conversion...
anyone?
i have a max pricve of probably $3500, but would rather not have to spend that much as i have to buy an engine...

ok new idea, looking for a ta22 with no engine (if i buy this 3t-gte) straight, minimal rust, good interiour, probably a max of $2000

yeah i saw that one, the thing is i dont have the cash right now, but with in a couple weeks i will...thats the catch.
exactly what i need ay...straight body, clean interiour minimal rust no engine??? would like to know more please

ok i did my own research
-2T Motor
-Auto
-2 inch exhaust
-14X7 inch Rims
-Floor Recarpeted in Black
-Original Interior - Cream Vinly seats....very good condition....only one tear in drivers seat....thats it
-6x9's in rear parcel shelf (Pioneer)
-6.5 inch splits in front Doors (Pioneer)
-Autotechnica Steering Wheel (Still have the original if required)
-Straight Body all round....passenger Door has a large dent in it....but i have bought a spare one to go on which is sitting in the garage....been too lazy to put it on
-front and rear bumpers are sweet
-Stiffer Springs, But standard height kept, & Monroe GT Gas Shock Absorbers....Feel nice
-No major rust on a quick inspection
-Drivers Window mech is rooted....window doesnt wind up or down...needs new window regulator
- Additional Gauges added for Battery Voltage & Oil Pressure
-Alternator replaced with 85A as opposed to original 40A unit
-Quartz Halogen Light Conversion (sealed beam lighting)
-Immobiliser with red Flashing LED on console (Immobiliser switch is hidden well)
-Locknuts For rims
-Workshop Manual and original owners manual provided
-Rego runs out May 31st
i dont like auto, if by anychance u could find all the bits and pieces that mnake it a man not including the gearbox, that would be great, as man. wrecked ta22's are fairly hard to come by down ere.
i dont need the 2t, but if thats not gona make the price drop then i wont worry about it.
add in the door, and the drivers side window problem, would it just be easier to buy a new drivers side door? $65 from u-pull-it... what u think?
cheers dude, it doesnt really matter that yer in sydney as yer trusted on these forums, but how much would freight be???

im in gold coast qld but u still might be interested

new wrx rally blue paint with purple pearl(6 mnths old and garaged)
all rust was cut out
oil, fuel pressure,oil,water temp spitfire gauges
boost and vacuum auto meter gauge
all gauges in silver
3tgteu motor(rings and bearings need doin)
twin ct12 turbos( can be reconditioned for 800 as i have 2 spare ones)
supra 5 speed box
tail shaft to suit

new tyres

10mm fuel lines from front to rear
surge tank
adjustable fuel regulator
koni suspension on front (lowered 3inch and very stiff)

I havent advertised it in the paper yet....just on these forums
as i havent had the time to get it ready to be taken
IE: take all the crap out like stereo and stuff
in regards to the drivers side window problem....yeah i spose but finding a door wihtout rust is a bit of a problem so just get the regulator i reckon
in regards to trusting me thats kool and all but i would feel more comfortable if u got someone u know in Sydney to check it out first b4 u freight it over there....just cause i dont want any hassles for both of us

Maybe what your after, started on project car, only rust is on front of hood and has small dent in front passenger gaurd (easy fixed) otherwise a neat TA22
2TG/3T (blown head gasket)

omg why does everyone that has a ta22 that im keen on have to live interstate... this sux... well the only car i would be able to get someone to check out for me will be from the gold coast, as i got some friends up there...

i had the exhaust set up without the turbo's so enginering doesnt matter as long as u know how to remove the turbos and fit the 2t manifold to the exhaust
u'll have to get ur mate to come have a look to appreciate the work though
