Cam restrictions on EFI?

I have been told that not all cam setups are compatible with fuel injection. Is this true? If so, why won't it work?
The reason I'm wondering is that I've got an 18rgu with non standard cams, and I want to convert it to EFI.
I'm going to be using an aftermarket ECU, probably a digi1 or Wolf3D. Wolf3D appears to be better with the features it has, but I'm wondering about the quality of their EMS. They're just so well priced! Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks in advance

All cam setups will work with EFI the main problem is if you where to use a stock computer that it wont add more fuel and might lean out etc. If you were to use a aftermarket computer you wont have this problem so go for the biggest lumpiest cam As for the Wolf3D I have used the Wolf3D in my Supercharged Hilux and my dads turbo Celica, I am quite happy with them and that I am purchasing the newest computer to put into my Supra.

the problem with big cams is the lack of vacuum at idle and low revs, makes a ecu hard to tune unless it has TPS mapping,
i would put a LT8 microtech on it, has tha ability to map on TPS or on a MAP sensor, if you are a turbo car it will use TPS until it comes on boost when it will swap to MAP,
the only problems i have heard of with the latest wolf ecus V4 are a few issues with shutting down under full revs and full load,
