Hey Guys,
I have a set of 4 Pot (BIG) toyota surf calipers for sale, they will accept a disc 25mm wide. They would make a good upgrade for a ST185 which is what I bought them for. Oh and they include some used pads ;p
I paid $400 for the pair... Make some offers.

What are they gold plated?
I got a set off of an early hilux (4pots) for free. And I couldnt see them being anymore than $100 for a pair at a wreckers.
Are the later ones alloy?

I work at a dealership. All HiLux 4x4 calipers are iron, and are 4-spot. They fit on a 20mm thick disk. The current ones are identical to the 1992 ones.
The Surf may have thicker disks, not sure. Landcruiser brakes are also 4-spot, but are bigger/ heavier to suit a thicker disk.

Hilux and lancruiser ones are all iron. hilux has 2 types with different piston bores. later ones are same as landcruiser of same year. lancruiser changed from using 22mm discs to 28mm disc in 2000. I have some brand new pairs of these at $330 pair with pads--suit thin and thick disc. Any of these need a master cyl of at least 25mm. you get these off starions, some celicas, or cruisers.
