where to get plates for turbo manifold.

ok,
where should i go to get the plates for making a turbo manifold.
have tracked down a bag of steam pipe, just need the a plate for a t28 and 4age, any ideas.

If your looking for the least cost. Just go to a scrap yard and get some 10 - 12mm steel plate/bar and cut them by hand.

Head to your local steel profile cutting place, take the gaskets, and they can knock some out reasonably priced and easy!

I know Liverpool exhausts have 4AG engine side plates, they shouldn't cost too much (the whole extractors aren't expensive). There is a fair chance they will have the turbo side as well..

i got a piece of 400mm x 75mm x 12mm thick plate from werribee stakktainers for $5. its $13 a metre there which ain't bad.
the fun bit is cutting the holes in it. bugger 12mm shit!
