Ok if I was to have an Hilux diff with limited slip centre, could I just get new ratios and keep the limited slip?
Sorry but I dont know much about diffs 
Is there anything I could be reading to learn me something

Yeah you can swap the crownwheel+pinion and bolt the LSD onto them no worries. Get an old diff and pull it apart to learn!

I've had 4 T series diffs apart over the last 12 months, I guess I havn't learnt anything either.
