Has anybody used the panels/guards/bonnet/headlights/etc that come with the imported front-cut to update the front of your car?
In the case of eg. Cressida MX83,using later panel setup of JZX90 Mark2-Cresta-Chaser or even the beautiful JZX100 Chaser?
I've examined images of these series, they appear to be similar dimensionally....any experience or know of this being achieved?
Apart from the panels themselves would inner panels around the engine compartment definitely have to be swapped also?
All input appreciated.

Proportions don't mean much. you could say by that rationale that MX73 panels could swap with MX83,which we all know you can't do.
I doubt 90-series chaser and 80-series cressida would be compatible, but top marks for original thinking dude!

one swap I have seen in real metal was the early soarer front end put onto an MA70 Supra.
they also ripped out the hatch, and made a tiny trayback, complete with roll-over bars. done in japan of course, about three years ago and featured in OPTION.

looks damn cool I reckon. I'd scan pics in if I had the gear to.
