Yogi,

which cartridge? I'm running my car in the NSCC dyno day this weekend, and I may be able to sell one or two for you if I can get some data on what they are to take with me on the day.

the club has over 90 members,90% of which drive either S14's or S15's...

They are the rollerbearing upgrade which is on the current 200SX,
they are a bolt up fit to the SR20DET.
Off the the top of my head and correct me if iam wrong, I believe they are rated at about 450HP.
I have some info from garret, but it is a bad photocopy, Iam waiting for some more info to come in, but you can always look up the garrett site

GT28 sure you don't mean T28?, which is the current S15 turbo. The Jap spec turbo is the one to get and you can apparently get 220rwkw out of then (approx 370hp flywheel) but 200rwkw is more realistic i think on our fuel (approx 340hp flywheel).

The GT28's use a T3 comp wheel so aren't really in the same league as the GT25 and GT30's which use the new "ballistic" series wheels. The only GT28 Garrett do is rated around the 300hp mark, this is a very different turbo to the GT2835 offered by HKS.

That said though if they are GT28's that is a very good price and bang for buck i'd go with one if i was looking for a hp upgrade in that range

ok, the turbo's on the 200sx are a T28, you can get up to 250kwatw after you modify them, ( thats on a sr20det ) you have to hi flow them first. second hand these turbos are just below $500. so new, this isn't a bad price. they can put out some big power, but only once you spend at least $15,000 on hi flowing them and putting in a bigger compressor wheel.

$15,000 turbo - yeah, I love earthmoving equipment too Evil or Very Mad Nothing as relaxing as driving a biiig dozer Very Happy

450hp is stretching things a bit, about 380 is closer to the mark for these turbos. And that's if you're lucky Very Happy

will this bolt up to my rb20 pattern manifold, ie does it have the same 4 bolt exhaust housing bolt pattern as the t28 style r32 skyline turbos?

If its from a SR20, then no, it wont bolt up as the turbo has a T25/28 flange whereas the turbos from an RB20 are effectively a T28 with a T3 flange.
