Corolla rally car questions

I'm thinking about building a rally car and I'm a bit fixated on the idea of a FWD thing - I understand the love of the Datsun, but I'm a bit of a FWD rev happy sicko.
I reckon the choice is between a Peugeot 205Gti or the Corolla. 4AGE equipped Corollas should be quick and cheaper for fast bits and panels than the 205.
Questions:
1. Should I get the AE82 or AE92? AE82 is lighter & cheaper but came with less powerful motor. I don't know if I can put the 100kW motor CAMS legally into the AE82. What's the AE82 TVIS story?
2. Should I get the shopping trolley version of either, then buy a 4AGE from a Jap wrecker and fit it, or buy the 4AGE version first up?
3. Do the throttle bodies on the 20V version of the 4AGE fit the 16v 100kW one with no mods?
4. Did anything with the FWD gearbox come with a LSD? Can I fit the stronger gearbox and stronger driveshafts off the 4AGZE onto the 4AGE in a AE82/92 with no trouble?
5. What suspension is available? What big brakes can I fit?
6. Did the 4AGE Corollas only come with 5 doors? What is the homologation story for the Corolla?
7. What haven't I thought of?

In Japan, all the good corollas (Levin, Truneo) had 2 doors only. The AE82 came as a 2 door hatch, sold as FX16 in America. The AE92 came as a good looking coupe, nothing like we had in Australia. Sold as Corolla GT-S in America, with 100kw 4A-GE. Also the AE101, AE111 came as a coupe with either Trueno or Levin front styling. I think the AE101 was avaliable with the 4A-GZE, called Levin BGZ in Japan? Latter models, AE111, came with the 20valve. And there maybe some swapping of engines and models, don't know exact dates.
That is all irrelivent for Australia I guess. I don't know rally rules, but it would be very easy to use a "100kw" engine in a older AE82 car. Few officials would know the difference, expecialy if you swap the cam covers or something. The 20v throttles don't "bolt on" to the older engines, but they can be made to fit with alot of work or expencive adapter manifold.
For the model you choose, it comes down to what you like the look of. Mechanicaly they are all very similar. Its easier to start off with a EFI car unless you are going to modify it heaps.
Also remember there was the Corolla cup in Australia, they used AE102 AUstralian spec cars with 7A-FE engine, Avgas and aftermarket computer. Look into the 7A-FE engine, it may go as well as a 4A-GE, not sure.

Yes there are a couple of different gearboxes, and one of them has LSD. I know the 4A-GZE cars (import only) had a different gearbox with LSD. Not sure of the model sorry. I am sure you can use the 4A-GZE driveshafts if you get the whole matching gearbox, not sure otherwise.

In Australia the 4A-GE only came in the AE82 4 door hatch "Twincam16" and AE82 5 door liftback "Twincam16" seca. Also the AE92 hatch "GTi", or "SX"? not sure here. Also the AE92 (AE93?) Seca (some not all), some with the 100kw engine.
The next atempt at performace was Australias own spec 7A-FTE turbo engine in the AE112 "Sportivo" Seca.
Another gap, then the recent ZZE121 "Sportivo" wih 2ZZ-GE engine.
