WTB: RA28 Celica (Mustang style)

Gday,
Still a newbie to the toyota scene - but i'm thinking of buying an ra28, with a budget of between $4-5000 max (less is ok too). I'm however after something thats been worked on - be it motorwise, body (sprayed, wheels etc), or interior. If any of you have/know of someone considering selling one for a good price in the short term (month or two) - give me a buzz with some pics etc.
Thanks.
Bardin.

Bump. If the price is good (in value, not cheapness), i will consider interstate. Provided its roadworthy and can make it back of course

Where are you located?
At this stage i still have my current car - looking around to see whats on the market, don't want to be a tyre kicker though. I will hopefully have my car sold in a couple of weeks. If thats roughly when she wants to sell hers (particularly if you are driving it now and need it) - that could work out.
In light of tyre kickage i haven't called her - i did email though, without a response, perhaps you can answer though - first and primary question is how much shes after. What mods have been done (if any) including spray, wheels, etc, whatever. I'm hoping that its not bright pink or something

I'm over Bondi way mate.
in all seriousness, just give her a call and talk about it.
I can't say what she wants for the car,as selling it hasn't been mentioned for about 6 mths now. when I saw your post asking for one the other day,I asked if she wanted to sell, and she said yes,but gave no indication of an asking price.
call her mobile, and discuss it. I'm on holidays for the next two weeks,so would be able to meet you somewhere to give you a look at it pretty easily.
her name is Erika, her mobile is 0402 167341.
my mobile is 0418 663628.

Spoke to Erika, i'm interested, but still would heavily prefer to buy something that i don't have to do basic work on - ie for the 3-4 grand range. Open to ones that need work, but not as keen.

Gday,
I don't think i'm worthy of something in such well kept original nic, i'm young, and would only set about ruining its glory
Aside from this, i guess i should have mentioned that i'd be after a manual - if it was auto it would mean expense of changing etc, or not buying.
Thanks for the offer, i'll keep it in mind, however i'll be honest - as a young fella, i can't appreciate things in original nic ( ) and as such would find it hard to justify spending 5k on something in original (albeit immaculate) nic.
I've been offered one by someone who (i think?) is a forum member here, unless they came from classic-celica.nl, which is sounding like a good deal at this stage - we'll see how that goes.
Thanks again,
Bardin.

Bump. Decided definitely don't want a 23, i'd consider a 22 at the right price, but definitely prefer a 28.

The 22 i think has the better front when compared to 22/28 - the 23 may have the better motor, but whatever.
If i was offered any of the above in good nic at a darn good price i probably wouldn't be able to refuse, but its just an order of personal preference
Theres an ad you should download mate, think its for sega rally, i've got it on my hdd, don't remember where it came from

LOL, I wouldn't worry about it too much, most people who say they want one can't afford what they ask for, and the rest won't travel to see one for sale. Given that you both live in different states, I think you're pretty safe!

Sadly won't be an option unless its in running order for me to drive it back :/
On my red p's, ie can't tow car trailer (although i do have access to one). I'd be pushing to con someone to drive me to VIC with a car trailer
