Hello.
Ok, after converting my good ole B20 to EFI using 3t-gte gear... I'm still not happy with it and it's also starting to smoke now and also consuming heaps of gas. My college teacher is offering me a 1JZ for ~200us$... cheap cheap...(He bought it for his 740 Volvo which he already sold, so he doesn't know what to do with the engine.)
The question is that now is if anyone has seen this type of conversion? How hard would it be? (It's got the whole loom un-cut, auto trannie...with shifter assembly. And it's a black-top if that matters.)
(Reason for this conversion is I want an overdrive transmission for long distance drive... a used volvo trannie is already 200us here...)
Any thoughts.
