Ive found that sometimes the only way to deal with people like this is to reposes something of higher value to them untill they return it...usually fairly promptly at that point
I think wheels are worth more than a trophy arent they?
hahaha anyway back to the real world, of course the best thing to do is to leave it to the police..if the club chooses to lay charges against him then the police have to charge him with theft and he will then have to face trial and if convicted have a theif tag marked on his record for the rest of his life. Ever tried to go for that important job you really wanted but they do a records check on you first???
Is Peter still a financial member?, if he is then maybe his membership should be reconsidered as well.

I agree, send in the police. before you do though, maybe write a formal letter and stick it directly into his letterbox, informing him of the club's position.
if the trophy isn't returned after that, get the local coppers to get you in the door, and dragonball boy sorted out.
refusing to return stuff that isn't yours is just not on.
Justin...

For those new to the club or the forums who may think we are being a little heavy handed I would just like to point out that the trophy in question was due to be returned to the Toymods Car Club in JANUARY this year.
We as a club have been more than patient.

Wouldn't think you'd be worried Roddy... that new engine of yours won't be ready for years yet, so you won't be getting your name on it...... lol.... Alex.

I had a chat to my flatty about it, also known as "the_narc", he is a general duties cop like the one you would be trying to convince to do something about it. Whilst it is possible that the police could do something, he thinks it would be a very bored and keen copper who would touch this. 99.999% will brush it off as a civil matter.
Better get a Lawyer....
The problem being whist he has kept the trophy too long, the club did give it to him willingly in the first place.
he can always state the old Australian Armed Forces addage..
"Did I sign for it ??"
unfortunate but true.
has he still got the trophy himself ??
maybe we should divert the supercruise! and pay a visit.

diverting the supercruise sounds like a good idea. i can't exactly see him refusing to hand it over with an angry mob on his doorstep!
Matt, the_narc wouldn't happen to be the bloke in the 180SX who joined us on the last cruise by any chance would he?

Is this still going on??? What a Dickbrain. Oh yes this guy is KING dickbrain.
I overnight posted him a 1J engine mount for FREE!!! Told him just to send me $10 (postage was $9.95). Cheap considering new ones are over $300.
No thank you, no $10.
Give the trophy back, Fucknuckle.
(Sorry to anyone offended by this post)

ITS BACK !!!
Well for those who couldn't make last nights meeting the Trophpy is now safe and well in the Hands of Toymods.
With only a small meeting due to the cold Weather it was great to see so much Support for the club when the Topic of our long lost trophy was raised by Luke. A big thankyou to all the members who chose to convoy out to the northern beaches in order to get it back. A special thanks to the central coast guys and gals who drove a Looooong way out of there way in offering there support.
It's definatly a sad and pathetic individual who feels the need to steal a clubs trophy and display it on his mantlepeice as if he had earned it. To be honest I almost feel sorry for him !
