4age (Silver) or 3sge (ST162) in TA22 Sat, 05 July 2003 06:09 Go to next message
which would be cheaper for a transplant into a TA22?

i.e. what's gonna cost me the least in custom parts and other things/bits needed to go east-west to north-south in my TA22. Dis reguarding engine and computer cost which would be better on the bank? (will be a DIY job) or should i try something else? requirments are EFI and low cost for transplant and ongoing fuel. (currently has tired old 3T)

thanks guys your the best,

Alex

yeahhhh, a rwd 120hp 4age ae86 will be cheaper, but how much? i hear you still need to pinch a bunch of parts from other cars or get custom bits made. i already have a st162 3S-GE which i've got for sale atm to pay back money borrowed for the TA22 but i'm not sure know, bummer is i don't have a computer for it. was wondering the price difference for extra parts needed between silver top 20V and 3S-GE ST162 conversion.

Cheers,

Alex

man, the 20v will be cheaper, but if you already have the 3s motor, then that would cut cost dramatically, as the 3s motor is cheaper to but than the 20v.
