Ok on the TA22's and Sprinters for example there is a little right angle metal bracket that sits on top on the rubber mount Confused
Anyone have any idea what this is for?

If it's what I'm thinking of, it's a safety device to prevent the engine jumping out of the engine bay if the rubber mount breaks.
