Your 1JZ is sick look out maybe a BHG!!! or just lacking 7M staying power! look at turbovan's one BHG and still kicks your ass with 5cyls! ohh hang on thats 2.5ltrs!!!! geeeee
the 1jz vs 7m war is over the 7m has been, won and is now rape'n and pillage'n the 1jz homeland!
Maybe you should of keept your 7m-ge????
ahh well atleast you can use your engine mounts on a engine not lacking displacement like a 2jz perhaps?

hey allan.. pull ur head in.
For starters , my cressida came with a 5mge and the only thing worse than a 5mge is the guy that though "lets bore this sucker out" to make a 7mge.
My cars sik due to electrical problems... something i know nothing about.
Why does this topic hurt you so much?? Cause deep down in your little heart.. U wish u had a 1J instead of a 7M hehe.

for those who were wondering how I made 185 with my awful setup (stock cooler, running too rich, stock almost everything) the answer came in the shining light of a boost gauge.... just shy of 1 bar (14psi)!!
I knew it was going to be up there.... 185 should not have been makeable on the crappy cooler, with my large heat soak problems.

but but! - a tiny little yellow rolla - little wheels - babyseat and looking like grandmas sunday transport ( which i think is so damn cool ) is pretty damn good if it wasnt for the intercooler poking from the nose - that would be SO the ultimate sleeper
Im asking Santa if i can have one

I just love it for the fact that when it's driving around slowly, it just sounds liek a sick old car in need of a tune... would never grab the cops attention like that (except for the cut-away at the front for the cooler)

it definantly gets my thumbs up !
i think the only thing that compares is the likes of thunderbirds cressie for the grandparent sleepers , though a few camrys have arisen from obscurity of late ( turbocamry's for example ) that are up there with the white hat boosted brigade.
My old car was like that - but a little more " i know its got a v8 " though
Dirty big old ZH tank fairlane stock on the outside ( including hubcaps and standard tyres ) - 6.2 litres of stroked 351 that was pure limo sleeper - handled like a turd and had the turning circle of a large cargo boat - but had gobsmacks of torque !

My 3000GT Turbo-A was released from the factory with an upgraded, better, more reliable head gasket. It never ran the stock head gasket that the normal 7M's have. All the information I have found has stated that the 3000GT TURBO-A head gasket does not, and will not blow like the normal 7M's.

Last time I saw someone say that on these forums, their HG blew two weeks later...
