1G-GTE Sump Mon, 07 July 2003 01:17 Go to next message
Hey Guys

I have an 83 corona which I am currently fitting a 1G-GTE to, and I have the front sump from this engine.

Apparenlty guys with RA celicas need the front sump and they always get stuck with the rear or mid one.

Anybody want to swap sumps and pickups?

Cheers

Mark

Yeah, if you have an ST14x, then chase down an RT14x crossmember. The front sump is a better design. More volume, better baffling, and wings at the front.

I have the RT142

I actually have the rear sump Rolling Eyes whoops.

So how do I get about getting the front sump?

Or, could I put a ST14 crossmember in?

Both ST141 and RT142 have front sump engines.
