Sump damage Mon, 07 July 2003 22:38 Go to next message
I damaged the sump on my car on Saturday night while "cruising" a rally stage at Gosford. It is not crakced and is holding oil, but I don't know if it's blocking the pickup.
The questions I have are:
What are FWD Toyota sumps made of?
Does anyone have a 3S (FWD) sump around that I could compare my 2C on to (same engine bay, same gearbox bellhousings)?

Cheers

Generaly from my expierence the sump is a pressed mild steel item that could be hammered out if the need arises.

I know the perfect sump guard should you need one in the future Wink

Craig.
