Headlights for a Soarer?? I'm confused Tue, 08 July 2003 06:09 Go to next message
I would like to get new headlights for my car and have been looking on the Fullboost website and have become confused.

I know I won't need a highbeam and low beam light in one as they aren't in the same housing. I also know that the parkers aren't attached to the low beam even though they are in the same housing. They are seperate...unlike most new cars.

I'll put up all the different types and can I have some help picking one that will fit. I would like to get both some REALLY high powered highbeam lights and good low beam and my parkers are really dull & orange so some of those as well.

Thanks

Check the actual headlight unit. Toyota likes to stamp things on the unit. It should have on the top the type of bulb it uses. From guess of what Japanese like to use, the highbeam would most likely be H3... low beam could be either H1 or H3 (more likely H3 for the projectors). But I am 99.9% sure that it's not H4 or H7.

Parkers does jack all, so I wouldn't worry about that unless you want to change the colours of the parkers (legal colours are stock white, yellow and orange).
