Hey Guys,
I picked upa digital dasha little while ago and ive worked out most of the wires 'n' stuff but im stuck on getting the tacho to work?
Im still running a 4AC atm and ive connected the black w/ red dots wire on the dash to the negative on the coil and also the tacho signal wire for the analog dash. But it still doesnt work!!
The first led for the tacho comes on with the rest of the dash but thats it ;( Has anyone installed a digi dash w/ a 4AC loom?

I wont claim to be any expert on the subject , I did do an install of a Digital tach, but an aftermarket one on a Camry(I use the -ve on the coil, +12v from ignition circuit & an earth to a point on the chassis, and it works verrry niceyly). I'm pretty sure you only need the -ve on the coil or a tacho signal, not both. But someone feel free to correct me on that.

Should only need the coil -, but it's probably just a matter of hooking it up to the right place! Unless you are missing any parts that are meant to go with the dash?

on the diagnostic plug theres an "ig" terminal
sometimes its on the side of the diag plug
that is an rpm signal
trace it inside to the dash plug on the harness
or just run a wire from that to the tacho
its a black wire with brown rings on it
