Kyosho actually made an initial-d AE86 RC car
One of the hobby shops in haymarket(syd-n-e) has one of the Limited Edition Initial-D ones in the window! - $340 (i'm broke.. but RC drifting on the boardroom table would be great fun , would be way cool if there was 5 of them going around at once!)

Hobbyco has the Truneo listed for $229 while at Wings N Things it's $270.
Not sure who would sell the HPI.

i found about the costs today. the RTR cars did not come to australia but the kits are here. $249!!! i was rapped with the small price. but you need an ESC (~$99) and a wheel type radio gear set (~150) so can have one up and running for about $500. oh and the sprinter is not yet available. the GTR and the corvet are the most popular and are here, but you could mail order other bodies from OS.
