Interesting idea... I don't know the answer, but I presume the reasoning is to make it easier to fit a bigger master cylinder???

Boosters can be surprisingly easy to swap - f'r instance, on the HZ Holden project we're doing, we swapped a Crown booster in with minimal effort, just had to make a new rod to operate it... simple really!

If the space is anything like the TA22 which I think it is, I doubt it will fit. The wheel arch is in the way.

I can say that it definately does. cause i have done it
HOWEVER!!
the ae86 master cylinder is only 2 bolt but two pieces of flat bar with a hole in each is all thats needed. No lengthening or shortening of the shaft was required at all. the play between the master cylinder piston rod and the booser (poor description i know) wat absolutely spot on!!
i realise its not ideal but it is very sturdy and has worked fine on mine until i can find something better.
can provide pictures if you wish

yes pls show us some pics

what is the benefit of installing this into your sprinter?

my brake master cylinder is leaking, what would be the best replacement for it?

so is it the booster you change or the whole round thingy i asume that is the master cylinder right? what is the booster is it the cup you put the fluid in?

Sorry to barge in but I want a smaller brake booster. Does anyone know what would fit without changing mounting holes. Someone on cub4ag said a Tercel fits but i had a look at a wreckers and it looked like the same size

Thanks

Brad
