That blows too for any real work, if you can struggle through any HTML, use 1st Page. It makes the basic framework and you fill it in, it also doesn't fill up your program with crap and it will generate scripts.

I've REALLY gotta show you 1st Page, its free, and it doesn't bloat up your page with random shit like Frontpage...oh, and it doesn't include some shit that doesn't work in non-IE browsers.

Dreamweaver rocks. download a 30 day trial or buy an older version on eBay if you want to do some serious developing, or get real good at HTML

Haha. I mean, all of the software we have at work is legit, but stuff you use at home for playing around with? Come on. At bare minimum, around 2grand for an adobe collection, about the same for studio mx, and have you even priced Maya these days?

yeah man, I paid like over $1600 for all the stuff I have, but you can get older versions on eBay for under $100. There is a copy of Dreamweaver there now for $36 with one day left.
If you just want to do small development, and older version is perfect and they come at not too bad a price if you want to actually own a copy. You don't need maya or anything, but DW is a solid program in all its incarnations.

Yeah I know you don't need maya for web, but I like to dabble in alot of things, 3D, 2D, programming, web design, music making etc etc, so all those things add up
