Howdy,
I am wondering if any1 can tell me where the following hoses connect? I have attached a pic... My idle is real bad unless one is blocked (more story below, pics first)

I brought my halfcut and marked all the vacuum hoses the day it came with different coloured paint spots so i wouldnt have this problem
But... Either i missed two or im missing something
I noticed my idle was real rough, and also that there is always a constant hissing noise... so i investigated it and theres two hoses off the throttle body that go nowhere
When I cover one up (one that sucks) the car runs/idles godly, but without it been blocked the car splutters and sounds like its on its last legs
I have attached some pics and I was wondering if any1 knew what they attach too?
Thanks in advance,
Stuart

theres 2 pairs of hoses on backl there
one pair goes to the idle up for steering which is a small valve on the steering rack where the column joins it
the outlets for these hoses are about and inch or so apart
all i do is put a ball bearing in the hose then look it from one pipe to the other if u aint got the valve
the other pair of hoses goes from side of throttle body to the a/c idle up then back to the hose right at the front of the pic u have
so im sure the ones u are talkin bout r the steering idle up
so just plug them both

Ok thank you both for your replies
I will block it up good cause the car runs real bad without it
Yer it would most likely be the power steering one, cause I didnt fit it in the AE82 cause the mounts didnt match
Thanks heaps,
Stuart
