Guys.. im debating over which engine i should buy to whack in an old corolla (yet to buy).
My choices are... 4A-GE 100kW 4A-GE 20V 3S-GE
THe advantage of 4A is that i can find lots of infor about them.....
and for the 3S... i know a guy that builds them for formula 3...
DOes anyone know of a place i can go for a full spec sheet on the 3S... or anythign?
thanks guys

What sort of Rolla is an "old corolla"?
Also, what type of driver are you? Do you like the traffic light GPs (4A-GZE) or do you enjoy a screaming engine (20V)?
3S swap will be much more expensive (espeicially if you're thinking of a RWD Corolla).
How much are you willing to spend?

about a '72 corolla...
Its gonna be for a race car.. so i dont want it blown, and cap. of under 1600 or 2000 Money is not REALLY a factor.... i know i can pick up a complete 3S for $2200... 4A for $900.... or a TOMS toyota race spec 3S for about $10,000 What RWD conv. difficulties are there wiht the 3S?? I can see a problem of drivetrain, cos im not sure what donor car it will come from, and i dont think the T50 box will handle the balls.. . nor fit it. (maybe an F3 sequential box?? i dont think so.....)
Id prefer a 20V, and want to head for quad throttles. And thinking more.. i dont want VVT.
Thanks

If you get a Beams 3SGE and the box with it, all your problems are just about solved!
