Hi all,
Just purchased my new 4 button clutch for my GZE. I bought it for $423 inc. GST, and came in a box with all the necessary requirements.
What are your views on these brand clutches? was this a good price?
cheers and appreciate any info

daikin exedy do make good clutches. Was that price with HD pressure plate. If it is a HD plate those letters will appear next to the part number. If it is not an HD item - I probably could've done you one cheaper.

Don't forget that as a financial memeber of Toymods, Pitwater Brake and Clutch gives you trade prices on all parts, including daiken clutches.
I bought my HD clutch kit for my 18R-G there at just over $250!

I was under the understanding that Daikin manufactured the clutchs for most of the big name brands. If so, they must be pretty reasonable.
I did have a problem once with a dicky pressure plate from Daiken, but generally they have been really good.

I just fitted a daiken kit to my car yesterday (old clutch started slipping on way to dyno day last sunday, then the throwout bearing seized on the way home ) but mine is full faced organic, not a button clutch. I havnt had a chance to try it out yet though...

I have an excedy clutch in my car... It might just be the way that I drive but I don't think it is the best... Like when riding the clutch in traffic the clutch abolutely wreaks and when I do a nice dump, both wheels spin but the clutch wreaks again... I don't know why it does cause it's not slipping cause the wheels are spinning like crazy...
