guys i got a problem with an ae92 4agze air flow type.
Just had the conversion done a week ago.
when i start the car it idles ok, bit high, but ok. As soon as i rev it in neutral or when driving, the revs dont go back down when i release the throttle.
i tried turning the idle screw but its in as far as it can go.
Any ideas??
Also when starting the car, it fires, but the revs are heaps low, sounds like its gonna stall, then the revs pick up.
Sounds like air flow meter needs ajusting or something.
Hope someone can offer a solution.
Thanks.

I had a problem like that in my mazda, all that happened was the spring on the throttle broke. I doubt it's the same in your case though, your car is 20 years older.

could be AFM
could be sticky throttle body
Could be TPS
could be sticky throttle cable
check all these.. if its AFM or TPS it should show error codes on the ecu

Also check the idle control solenoid/servo and check for vaccum leaks.
