Lightened Flywheel 4age?

Howdy, just wondering what peoples opinion is on lightening the standard flywheel on the 4AGE by about 4 to 6 pounds. Is it worth it in quicker accleration? Is the loss in torque significant?
This is a 100kw 4AGE in a AE82.
Cheers,

I had a flywheel on a red top lightened by 2kg. Makes it a lot more rev happy but makes it a little harder to drive. It loses momentum a lot easier, like for hills etc.

You do NOT lose torque with a light flywheel!!! ARG! How does this silly myth keep getting around???
I have a 3kg alloy flywheel on my 4AG and I have not lost the slightest bit of speed going up hills. If anything, it's faster.

I'd also be a little careful about lopping too much off the standard cast flywheel...

So a standard 4AG flywheel lightened by say 2kgs will make it rev faster, acclerate faster and not lose torque? sounds too good to be true! Also when removing the flywheel should i get new bolts or can i put it back in with the old bolts?
