hi,
was wondering what struts i can use to lower my ra40 more.. it has been lowered 1.5 mm and isnt far off its limit.. if i lower it anymore it wont have any or next to no suspension travel
i want to lower it another inch- 1.5 inches. and still have a fair bit fo suspension travel does anybody know of any struts i can use that are shorter or know where i can get spacers and how much for if i put shorter shocks in?

to answre your question you'll have to do what im planning to do.. i run RA40 struts and have custom coilovers on them... its at the lowest setting and is still too high. So a section will be cut out of the strut and then rewelded togeather (with a sleve) then.. St185 GT4 celica shocks will be thrown in. these are a short stroke shock from the factory and fit right in.

you can make your own coil overs easy enough

most susp shops charge about 300 bucks for a kit which basically goes onto your exjistign strut.

Sure there are ways about it./. but they usually end up costing more dollars then its worth.

theres nothing wrong with cutting the strut and then shortening it.. so long its done properly.

once thats done u can fit short stroke shock and go as low as you like.

There is a place here in brisbane that is going to shorten my RA40 struts, fit Boge inserts, Coil over kits and king springs for $840 the set.
