did it come with a shroud for the air cleaner?
put the 'air box' thing back on and route the intake to the front of the car with some piping... some cutting and shutting is required (of the air box), but nothing to drastic

from memory the inlet for the airbox faces to the rear of the engine bay?
if this is so, you'll have to cut of the 'snout', shut up the hole, then cut another hole to attached the piping to go to in the grill (or where ever you're picking you cold air up from)
EDIT/ the shroud is the thing that goes over the filter originally - i forget what its called

By the looks of that air filter get a new one. that will let a lot more air in.
Or you can try and hook up some cold air intake piping (if you have a twin light take one of the lights out and run it from there nd make up a bracket in your engine bay. i dont know where to get the piping from though?
