What turbo to upgrade from a CT26

Hey i've got a CT26 turbo that I was going to Hiflow but the the housing is all cracked, what sort of turbo would suit the 7MGTE using the original manifold? The turbo has to have a internal waste gate & has to be a improvement from the CT26. Under $2000 so that rules out Ball Bearing units (dam).

Not sure exactly what turbo might be a direct swap.
But check out some of the import wreckers and u might be able to find a decent brand name turbo with manifold to suit.
Not real sure tho on prices so it might be hit and miss.

TO4's are a popular upgrade for 7M's. You will need an adapter or a whole new exhaust manifold to make it fit; both are available pre-made (check out eBay) or an exhaust shop can fabricate them for you.

you could find out what has the same manifold bolt pattern as the ct26 that will flow better . aint they t3 bolt apttern?

Similar, but I doubt a T3 would be an improvement!

You should check with www.suprasport.com the have one, a direct fit with the stock manifold.
