hey ive had my 2T-GEU in my T-18 for bout 6 months now, and ive got a pod filter, 4-1 tuned length extractors, 47mm (i think, its just under 2inch) exhaust single muffler. Car is running good but now im starting to get a rattling noise when i start the car i think it may be the timing chain, plus the car wont start unless i rev it a bit. Im just wondering if its not the timing chain, what else it could be causing the noise, plus also does the 2T-GEU have a tendancy to sound a little like a motorbike cause mine is sounding a little like 1 now, but i was told that this was caused by the way the ports and such of the engine were designed?? any thoughts on that as well.

yes, i had very big problems with my timing chain rattling in my 2tgeu, you may have to check you engine oil pressure and also check that you tensioner is working correctly.
if you end up pulling the head off the motor, you should also check that its not a broken guide or something like that.
good luck
