the mark3 supras are heavy bastard cars.
putting a 3t-gte in it would be a BAD idea, unless it's very worked (like that one at the dyno day that put out 190rwkw)

as a guide:
3t-gteu: 160bhp, 152lb/ft
7m-gte : 230bhp, 240lb/ft
1jz-gte: 280bhp, 269lb/ft

the mk3 supra came stock with both 7m and 1jz engines

add a 1g variant to that (forgot bout the ga70... as you do Smile)

the 1g-gte put out 185bhp, and ~175lb/ft of torque, and the 1g-ge put out 140bhp, but the general consensus is the engine just isn't really up to the weight of the mk3

ma70 weighs in at a touch over 1600kgs

You can make the power, but what really hurts is the lack of torque. That's why the 1G isn't a good option, and a 3T certainly isn't either!
Sure they can make the torque when they're on boost, but what happens when the turbos aren't spinning...
