hooking up turbo timer

i have a Greddy turbo timer and would like to have a go at installing it myself,can anyone give me directions or hints or is this something that i should leave to someone who knows what their doin?cheers...

There's an internet acronym for this.... RTFM. 
Do you have access to the manual?
Also, do you have an alarm? Alarms can complicate matters.

im not exactly fluent in internet terminology so what the hell does rtfm stand for?!?
the turbo timer came installed with the car i pulled the engine out of therfore no manual or instructions (sorry i should have explained this when i posted this thread).
the car does not have an alarm...

Hmm... No manual makes it VERY difficult.
Do you have access to the wiring diagram for the car/engine that it's coming out of? You can trace the lines that it's connected to and figure out what each wire does...

Its pretty easy to wire up a turbo timer...
Usually they have the +12v power and an earth... And then they have two wires that are used to bridge the ingnition circut. I.E. Keep power flowing while the ingnition circut is closed...
Some timers have just one wire though, best bet is get a manual ;p

do a search
but i can wire them up for 100 bucks
if anyone is interested
that includes the speed/rpm/handbrake wires
