can anyone tell me how much the stock RA23 alternator cranks out? I want to put a larger one on. Also is there any sort of formula to work out how much power is needed to turn a certain sized alternator? I was thinking 60-80 amps (depending on what the stocker is) and i wanted to know how much extra power it would use. I guessed about 5-10hp.

cmon- someone must be able to help me out. Maybe someone can give me an educated guess instead of an out of arse guess like mine.

If I had to guess I'd say about 60 amps.

a guess is good enough. I think I'll get an 80amp one.
