Does anyone know of any tailshafts that would fit a T18 with a 3t gte in it? i got told i'd have to shorten it, but i cant be bothered if there is an easier alternative?!?! And are there any diffs, preferably lsd that can bolt up to this?

I take it you are using the W55 gearbox?
If you use the standard T50 (but used a clutch that had a spline to fit a T50), it would all bolt up and theres no need to get the tailshaft shortened - just be gentle on take offs. The only #E7# Corollas with a W series box were diesel ones, with a one piece tailshaft. If you wanted a W55 you'd have to get the tailshaft shortened, and a larger yoke put on. I'd put a T50 in for the time being and organise the tailshaft and W55 later.
As far as I know T series diffs had an option of an LSD, but Good luck finding one - well, find a AE86 disk brake rear with LSD and it will apparently bolt into a TE72.
There is a guy in WA who did a 3TGTEU swap into a T-18, just do a search and there should be some info there for you.
Have fun,
Jon.

All CE-70(diesel) came with two-piece tailshafts and steel case gearbox (W51) except STW RWD(!) Corollas after 1985 that came with alloy case (W59?) gearbox.
