Hey guys after an Air Bypass Valve for a 5M-E (helps in cold starts). It sits on top of the thermostat housing and has two air hoses coming into it, two little water hoses and it also has an electrical plug (can provide a pic if you need one Smile )

If you have one lets us know and I'll offer a reasonable price for it. (I got one off of 7mgte83 not long ago and it was stuffed as well Sad)

Cheers

thay carbon up give it a good drowning in carb cleaner/pull it apart and clean it, otherwise goto a pick-a-part there the same on all 4m-e 5m-e 22r-e some without water heating... no major issue unless you live above the snow line!

Had it apart already, it looks ok but I don't think the bimetallic strip is doing its job properly (don't think there is enough movement between cold and started...)

Good to know that I can look on 22RE's tho cheers!

Yep, I should have one. Email me a pic, and I'll find it.

I sent you a pic, if you do have one can you pull the two air hoses off and check to see that it is "open" when cold, the other two I've had have been closed. (They are meant to be open).

How much are you after?
