Just saw it. Awesome. Feel a bit scared now Sad Anyone else? Opinions? I heard that there will be a 4th one - movie certainly seems to pave the way for one - and even if Arnie is governor of California (or whatever), he'll still be in it.

me 2 I just got back from seeing it at Warringah..

AWESOME! I was very satisfied and sat there with a big fat grin on my face for most of the movie. looooooved every minute. I will be sad if 'mr future govorner of CA' doesn't do another. if he doesn't it will be yet another example of profit oriented story telling.. which is sad I reckon.

Such a cool movie. I think I will see it again Smile

Yeah, it paid tribute to the previous movies without simply rehashing them. Jokes were funny too Smile Very doom&gloom though, felt a bit paranoid after walking out of the cinema!

i saw a preview screening on monday night, yeah it was okay and all... but it left a lot to be desired.
i mean, in T2, so much happened. there was heaps of locations and the movie is like 2 to 2.5 hours long,
but T3 just seemed as if not much really happened... not as much character development yada yada

but thats just me
oh yeah the ending left it right open for T4, but will they make it next year or in another 9 years?

in the words of the man himself " he'll be back "

its a definate 4th lead in - we have to see john connor furfill his destiny as the man who saved the world

t3 was very good - but t2 for now - still is far far better !!

id expect a follow on in about 2 yrs tops - they are probably already penning it

If people pay for the movie - they will make more for the fans

another line from the movie by arnie is " We'll meet again "

WizzFizz - all valid points. I haven't seen T2 in years, but you are right. I still enjoyed T3 though Wink

If the T850 in T3 is a different machine to the T800 in T2 (whic hit is) why does it do the "human casualties = 0" thing vs the cops like in T2 after John Connor tells the T800 that it is wrong to kill?

As someone who has watched all 3 Terminator instalments (When they were released, I mean), I'd have to say that the 2 James Cameron-directed films were better than T3...My wife and I both thought the latest one "tailed-off" a bit; although you'd suggest that there is "scope" for a 4th, particularly when Arnie was quoted recently as saying he'd like to do a few more...
