1st Gen 3S-GE T-VIS (ST162) q... Sun, 20 July 2003 06:19 Go to next message
Hit a bit of a spot whilst putting my engine back together...does anyone have a diagram (or knowledge) of exactly how all the vacuum hoses connect up to the doo-hicky that's attached to the T-VIS? There's three that I haven't quite remembered/figured out, they connect to various spots on the intake manifold (and throttle body as well I think, not sure) but I'm not sure which one(s) connects what.

Yeah if you could! But they are pretty hard to get to, it's right underneath the intake manifold...so it's kinda tricky to see unless you've got the engine out Smile

I guess actually a pic of the front/top couldn't hurt and maybe one from the right hand side (right hand side if you are facing towards the back of the car that is)!

I looked at this Hayne's manual, and it's got most of the emission control hoses, but none of the t-vis related ones (either that or I'm just blind).

I'm digging this thread up from the dead.

In the same boat now, took the head off and disconnected a bunch of vacuum hoses and now the head is back on i cannot for the life of me work out where they all go. i have 3 or 4 that go behind the intake manifold and also a few for the intake pipe and one for the EGR valve.

I did have descriptions where they came from on some masking tape that i attached to the vacuum pipes but used a light blue color pen, and got oil on the tape which resulted in unreadable descriptions.

need a vaccum hose diagram for gen1 3sge, or adive, anything! will be very very greatfull!!
