Not sure how to relly run in and I`m scared of problems later on. .e.g, I do some rally cross sort of thing sometimes. I need some answers!!! .1) How long after driving will it be run in? .2) What would be a good rev limit during the process? .3) How will I know if it`s run in properly? Thanks. Your feedback is appreciated... [B]Toymods fan forever mrrolla[/B[/U]]...

From what I remember when I reconditioned my engine.
Drive it for 1000km without revving too hard and don't stay on the same revs for extended periods of time.
Don't think it matters too much about the revs, as long as you don't put too much load on it?

once its on the road for the first time... accelerate at full throttle to 60kph in 3rd gear then slow to 40 kph then acclerate to 60kph again and so on for about 5 times, this seats your rings into position
then, drive for 500k's not exceeding 3000rpm but dont abuse or pamper the engine at this stage, no extended periods of the same revs, i.e highway drving - no heavy loads either
for the next 500k's after that drive normally but dont over-rev the engine or pamper it - again no heavy loads
at the 1000k mark change oil and oil filter and check for any shiny metal bits - there usually a bit of black assembly lube that has been absorbed into the oil - this is not a problem
then you are ready to treat your car as you normally as you see fit... at 5000k's change the oil and filter again and check for any shiny bits - if not, praise your engine builder becuase if anything was gonna go wrong it would've happened by now
of course everyones methods vary, so dont accept this as 'gospel'
